Description
The Queen is a windmill of the so-called Dutch model. It is a so-called customs mill, which means that it was run by a miller, unlike the farmers' own house mills. On a mill of the Dutch model, only the dome is rotated. The queen was initially at the Postmastarlyckan at Sandas in Kalmar. In the 1880s it was moved to Oland and is now placed between the Kvarn King and the Crown Prince in Bjornhovda.

This is stunning! All the shades of blue, the texture and movement, and unexpected elements to find each time I look at it. Love it. l/f
